When I joined IEEE, JMI as the branch counselor, little was I aware of the unexplored world it is going to lead me to. Today, at this point, I am absolutely delighted to mention that being the counselor for IEEE, JMI has been one of the most gratifying and satisfying experiences of my life so far.

It is heart – rendering to witness the zeal and vigor with which today’s generation strives to advance ahead. I am very positive that if we continue on our path of dedication and enthusiasm, we would be able to achieve unfathomable success and glory.

I take pride in mentioning the fact that the student members if IEEE, JMI work round the year with the vision of taking the student branch to greater heights.

Being the branch counselor of IEEE, JMI has paved the path for my achieving the coveted position of Asia Pacific Student Activities’ Coordinator (R-10 SAC) which gave me the golden opportunity to coordinate and interact with over 500 students from all over the world, an example of which would be the Student congress held in February 2008 at Chennai.

I also take this opportunity to thank our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mushirul Hasan, and the Dean, Faculty of Engg, and Technology, Prof. Sikander Nabi for their indispensable support. I would also like to thank all the faculty members who have been actively involved in conducting the fest and have contributed to its success.
