What is the power behind it? How we play pixels in the Photoshop? So my queries and curiosity was increasing day by day in my mind and it was seeking for answers. So finally IEEE came to my rescue, they organized a workshop on Web Designing and Adobe Photoshop taken by Imran Ali (IEEE CHAIRPERSON) & Rahul Chauhan (IEEE J.SEC PUBLICATIONS). Held on Friday 26th March in our Faculty of engineering and technology.

Many students both IEEE & NON-IEEE members flocked to attend this workshop from 1st to 3rd year. We kicked off with a bit of basic theory by Imran but we could not proceed much because the projector was not installed courtesy FET, JMI. So Rahul took on and us on the basics of photoshop and gave a broad picture of the word ‘PICTURE’. So after half an hour of interaction JAMIA made it and our projector was installed. After that Rahul gave us an Introductory on the operations and tools of Photoshop and also providing us with their applications. It was astonishing to know that Rahul learned all on his own and I was amazed by his spirit of sharing this all this on his own. Everyone got so much immersed in it that we had no idea how time passed.

The decision on organizing such a trip was taken in the very first Execomm meeting and since then the student branch was pretty much adamant on organizing this trip especially since it could not be organized the previous year. There were some initial hurdles that came into the way of organizing this trip such as the postponing of the mid semester exams of the first year students (sadly they could not accompany us) but this was not going to stop us for organizing one this year and with everything falling in its place, we set out to what was a much needed break from the branch activities. It also was a perfect present for the outgoing Execomm.

We started from our university late night on the 18th February and reached our guest house in Jaipur at early dawn. Needless to say that no one actually slept during the entire journey to avoid missing the fun every moment offered (actually none were allowed to sleep).Although some chose to rag their juniors which we as juniors did not object to as it was something we were longing for keeping in mind the strict rules at our university. We had some difficulty in finding our guest house but we did not mind it as we were all engrossed in our own world of fun.
