Fun....joy....recreation...is all what is needed by everyone to take a break from their daily activities. Keeping this in mind, IEEE JMI organized an exhilarating trip to FUN TOWN, situated in Bahadurgarh, on Friday, the 18th of March, 2011. Also, this was a much needed trip to release some work stress before commencement of semester and sessional examinations .Though the planning and organizing of the trip was done just a week before, all the arrangements were flawless.

Everyone reached the college on time and we departed at around 9:45 am. It was almost a 2 hour long bus journey but neither the time nor distance was felt, as each one of us was very excited about the upcoming events. Throughout the journey, we were all singing, playing ‘antakshiri’ and other games to make the bus ride a cheerful one.

We reached our destination at around 12:15 pm and bought the tickets. We were greeted by the Fun Town officials and were offered refreshments. There were rides like monorail, break dance, Columbus (swinging boat), Bouncy and Super Trooper. Whether to go for Columbus or for Bouncy was a tough decision to be made as we wanted to go for all at the same time! The twists and turns of the rides made us all thrilled.

After resting for a while, we all headed towards the much awaited section of Fun Town, the water park. We all jumped into the pool where artificial waves were being generated. Hardly anyone knew swimming, but since there were life guards nearby, it didn't make much of a difference. We played around in the pool, splashed water, swam (or at least tried our hands at it!). There were long water slides namely magic twist, multi lane, black tunnel, multi racer and with great anticipation, we went for all of these one by one. They were all very exhilarating and the experience was memorable. After this, we went to the Aqua dance where not even a single person shied away from dancing to the tunes of various Bollywood numbers, all engrossed in their own world. Though it was getting late, and we were all hungry, none of us wanted to leave. But since we all had to return to college, we reluctantly left the water park to have lunch (which was delicious). Then we boarded the bus for the return journey. Though all of us were exhausted, none of us wanted to let go of the beautiful moments which we experienced. This concluded our day and it was truly a memorable and fun filled day
